Posted on October 19, 2017 3:59 pm Posted by Kirstie Graham

Bowral Long Lunch attracted 228 guests to a gourmet three course lunch prepared by chef Robin Murray at Centennial Vineyards Restaurant that received rave reviews from diners for the innovative mixed entree followed by a lamb main course and a raspberry and chocolate dessert.

Ten local artists painted en plain air in the courtyard as guests gathered for pre lunch drinks.

Darren Powell and Ganga  provided relaxing music and vocals.

The artists completed work was offered for auction to guests and raised $18,000 whilst the Silent Auction raised a further $14,000.

Overall net results are expected to be in excess of $50,000.

The support of guests, local business and sponsor Thompson Health Care was extraordinary and much appreciated. We couldn’t do it without such goodwill.

The day was considered a great success both financially and socially with a warm community spirit with spontaneous gestures from all those involved.

A huge thank you to everyone as the Foundation embarks on new projects for local youth mental health.
